Garden Season 2010: Please note, there isn't alot of information
here as the season has just started. Check back often for updates on
this year's crop!

Here we have our garden (flanked by the winter wood supply) about 95% planted in late May
2010. A quick summary of this years crops include about 40 tomato plants, 8 cantaloupe, 8
watermelon, 6 swiss chard, 25 pounds of potatoes, an 8 foot row of peas, three 20 foot rows of
beans, 8 cucumbers, 20 peppers, 8 summer squash, 5 butternut squash, 4 hills of pumpkins, 2
hills of gourds, 100 onions, a 16 foot row of carrots and four 15 foot rows of sweet corn.
Here is how the garden has progressed in about two weeks. A wind storm shredded my
bio-film mulch, but other than that things are going great.
Here is the garden on June 19th... almost a month since we started planting.
By July 5th, we were harvesting broccoli and summer squash and the tomatoes needed
staking.
