Miscellaneous Stuff (2010 crop) This page is just a collection of some other things we are growing. This is the first year we decided to put in a small herb garden. We planted basil, rosemary, thyme, oregano, cilantro and parsley. We decided to put these in large plant pots rather than in the ground to help contain them. Of course this means more watering! |
We also planted two semi-dwarf apple trees last fall (one McIntosh and one Granny Smith). To our surprise we saw we actually had a couple apples coming in by early June. |
Also on a last minute whim, we planted just a handful of swiss chard plants. |
By July 5th, the swiss chard was almost ready to go. |
